We offer special packages for groups at the farm. Please get in touch for pricing and group sizes and date availability.

Natural Dye - Indigo Tie Dye

This is our regular farm tours and mill tours and added indigo dye vat and tie dye option.

Participants will learn about growing natural dye plants with a focus on indigo. Participants can bring their own t-shirts, bandanas or tea towels to tie dye in Indigo. Alternatively, we can supply the items to dye (for an additional cost).

Natural Dye - Solar Dye Jars

This tour includes the farm and mill tour and a take-home solar dye jar option.

Participants will learn about growing natural dye plants and what colour they offer. Then all participants will have the option to make their own solar dye jar, with flowers from the dye garden, to take home (dyed yarn will be ready in 2-3 weeks).

This workshop works great with younger children, but can be enjoyed by any age group

WEt Felting Wool

This tour includes the farm and mill tour and a wet felting dryer balls activity

Participants will learn about the power of wool to sequester carbon from the atmosphere, and the importance of natural fibres. Participants will learn the basics of wet felting and make a pair of wool dryer balls. (these are used in our clothes dryers to replace disposable dryer sheets)

This workshop can be adapted to any age. For younger children adult assistance is helpful for the felting.
