We work hard to source high-quality wool from Canadian sheep farms that showcase the qualities and characteristics of the different breeds in Canada. We pay Canadian sheep farmers above industry rates for their wool and transform it in our mill into yarn and roving.

These are our dedicated breed specific product offerings:

The breed subscription is our flagship product that is a year-long exploration of sheep breeds. It includes 100g of yarn OR 4oz of spining fibre and a breed card about the history and origin of the breed and how to use it in your fibre arts practice.

Breed of the Month

You can sign up for our Breed of the month yarn or fibre subscription. 100g of yarn OR 4oz of roving every month for 12 months.

This is a year long exploration of breed specific yarn that is grown in small flocks in Canada.

You will also receive a small card with information about that sheep breed and some suggestions for the best use of that yarn based on the characteristics of the wool.
